It just hit me one day LIGHT BULBS!! - Why not? - I went hunting in the house to find a dead bulb, but to no avail, I ended up stealing bulbs from my kid's night stand lamps!
My first attempt at a Light-Bulb Portrait (LBP) was naturally Batman.. I hadn't really figured out what I was going to do it, I painted on some gesso and penciled the sketch and just started painting and a couple hours later, BATMAN!
I went out the next day to the local hardware store and found some lamp bases which completed the whole theme nicely!
